Just a confession to make.
Few times I have accidentally clicked on the Report Post when I wanted to Quote a post. Worse still, I actually typed in there and posted.
Sorry to the SC people, my wrong. |

How funny this should come up. I've done it a time or two. I was just thinking earlier of starting a thread asking if a lot of people have done that, and if SC get's a lot of post reports that state 'oops, meant to hit quote, sorry...'

| I guess when the "bosses" get sick of all the oopsies, they'll move that button elsewhere to make hitting it by mistake less likely. |

I've done this too!
I THINK I've caught myself each time and have been able to contact a member of SC and ask them to delete it from the queue but I may have missed some... if I have I'm sure they'll have quickly figured out what happened and hit the delete button!

| One easy way to tell is that the report post window is a pop up but the quote window is not. |

| The obvious (I always thought) clue is that the text of the message your quoting doesn't show up in the message text box. I've clicked the button a few times, but have always caught myself because there was no quote there. |
