Seeing as how just the thought of my entry being in the challenge is scaring people off, I now humbly withdraw my entry.

I will go back, reshoot, and submit a photo that isn't as awe-inspiring; it just wasn't a fair contest with my original entry.

:D

Alright. My new entry will not score above a 5.

I dare voters to score my horrid entry above a 5.

I dare *you* to enter a photo worse than mine!!!

I have knowingly taken my blue ribbon entry out of the challenge in order to give everyone else a chance; I feel this is the least that I can do. My new entry has nothing at all to do with yellow snow - a sure ribbon winner in any challenge.

I've had waaaaay too much coffee today - time to reverse *my* caffeine jitters before I go on a lens buying spree ...

I have just entered the most perfect, most flawless, most technically inspiring, most photogenically appealing, most amazing, most most photo for the Holiday Catalog challenge.

Were it possible, said photo would make Ivan the Terrible, Stalin, and Hitler change their ways and become good; famine would cease if the hungry gazed upon the photo; wars would end if fighting men could but glimpse the photo.

It is a vehicle for good.

It is, in the common vernacular, boss.

Please adjust your entries accordingly.

:p

Sorry "fresco, youre entry just suicided from the server when i uploaded mine. Its peon like existance would not handle the grandure of being placed side by side with my master piece only to be belittle and shamed by viewers and voters alike.
12/11/2005 08:01:04 PM · #39
Sorry guys. I sooooooooo have this one! Submitted with a kiss. Now just hand me the ribbons - yes, it deserves all three! :)
12/11/2005 08:04:55 PM · #40
what you doing idnic, advetising a puppy elf contume?
My entry would pee on your carpet and blame the dog!
12/11/2005 08:05:44 PM · #41
Elli Elli Elli - so nice yet so misinformed. With your so-called "entry" now on the server I resubmit my royal-blue ribbon winning entry.

You seem like such a nice girl, I really do hate to squash your entry like a little mosquito.

bzzzz -- bzzzzzzzz - swat/splat

There's still time to do the honorable thing.

Oh puleeeze, the dog in a costume would be too easy, mine is much more aweeeee inspiring. I predict you all sell your cameras and take up pottery once you see it.

The only down I'm going is in history. As the highest scoring entry ever.

I kind of feel sorry for you Elli. Kind of.

Its okay, JP; after your agonizing miserable defeat, you can spend your days in the little padded cells making paper birds and eating oatmeal. You'll be fine.

This is great! I entered for candlelight yesterday, and I'm about to enter for Holiday Catalog now. I think I'm going to do pretty well on both of them. As long as (or should I say when) I score higher then alfresco... I'll give myself a ribbon.
