I have just entered the most perfect, most flawless, most technically inspiring, most photogenically appealing, most amazing, most most photo for the Holiday Catalog challenge.
Were it possible, said photo would make Ivan the Terrible, Stalin, and Hitler change their ways and become good; famine would cease if the hungry gazed upon the photo; wars would end if fighting men could but glimpse the photo.
It is a vehicle for good.
It is, in the common vernacular, boss.
Please adjust your entries accordingly.

I got 3 Joe Stalins right here and they and everyone else in the shot say "Nyet, Al!" You're toast...maybe with a bit of caviar and a swig or 8 of vodka....but toast none-the-less!LOL! |

Maybe it would help if you told us how you REALLY feel about your entry? :)
Mine is in. It's ok, for what I can do. I'm a bit confused by "catalog". Not sure if they want a cover shot, which I have, or an item shot, which I have and actually entered. So *shrug*. I'm giving it a try, but I can just imagine some great shots are coming up!

Awww, c'mon. I love thumbing through catalogs.
Mine is an item, and a typical shot you would actually see in a catalog. How it fairs? Well, that remains to be seen, but it was fun anyway! I am SO undecided though. I got another one tonight from a Christmas trip in town, and not sure what to do with it, but I am keeping with my first instincts.

Actually, I have not even shot anything for any of the challenges in a long time, and probably won't get in on this one either. If I did, I'm sure I would knock you right off your magnanimous podium my fellow yooper (he who fears sharing what crazy things he has done on the other thread) friend. |

However ... my photo has been entered! :p
trash talkin' and Sundays are such a swell time, much like ... oh ... I don't know, like ... like ... stringing Rikki up like a pinata and giving everyone a go! |

I can feel it... A special photo for the special holiday season. This is a "break out" challenge for me.
...I'm gonna "break out" the beer and have a drink after I get another 4.X score. (...or maybe eggnogg in keeping with the season.) |

all i can say is that you guys are SOOOOOOH lucky that my camera's broken right now (and won't be back for several weeks! ). i had kick-a#@ set-ups and ideas for the holiday catalog and candlelight challenges...they would have ribboned for sure!
...of course, don't ask me what COLOR they would have ribboned at!
;-)
did i mention that not having a working camera is driving me CRAZY?
