hi guys

here are some pics from my ecuador trip last month. the landscape and nature was amazing to see, especailly galapagos was a great experience, because the animals there are not used to humans.the lived thousands of years without any natural enemies and so they even don't recognize the himans as their enemies.thatswhy it is possible to get really close to all these birds, iguanas, penguins and turtles for example.

Ecuador 1
Ecuador 2

crabbs
flamingo
Iguana

Nice shots. I bet that was a great experience being able to interact so closely with these type animals. I like the one of the Iquana.

FWIW, "turtle" is actually a tortoise. I envy you your opportunity to go to the Galapagos. Of the images you have posted, I like the crabs the best. Frankly, they all seem rather casual or snap-shottish to me. I would love to see shots where the focus is on the animal IN the environment, i.e. with much more "location" around the animals so we get a sense of place. The tortoise, for example, might as well be in a zoo for all we can see. The seal shot has a touch of environment in that we can see the nice, tubular wave, but... The flamingos have environment/context, but I wish there were more above and less of the plain, muddy-looking foreground; water on sand is pretty much water on sand whetrever you go, but the vegetation is more interesting.
