I was really feeling great when I got back from Mountain Masters photo contest today and the reason why was this. I won 3 first place ribbons. 1 second place ribbon two honorable mentions and a best of show award. So I feel pretty good about myself. I got on the dpchallenge to check the validation that I sent in not once but twice to validate my blue ribbon for the camouflage challenge and it said it had been DQ for not being the right time and date to check my camera and the rules. Well I checked my camera and I can't get it to go to like PM time. Another words its staying on AM all the time it will not change to PM. No problem I will figure it out. This was only my second challenge and I won a blue ribbon
so you can't beat that. You can take the ribbon but the picture is still a winner. I'm like everyone else on here your pictures speak for themselves. I love photograpy and have done it almost all my life. I'm teaching my son and hopefully he will be on here whenever I can afford him a digital camera of his own. He started at age eleven and is now thirteen. He has won several ribbons and a trophy of his own. I will be back because I love competition... Oh my son has a Canon T2 and a couple of lens that he bought with his own money.

sorry about the bad luck, my camera changes times at random. If I ever win, I'll be in hot water for sure.

Is this the start of an elli-kat-denny cabal?

Perhaps we should have you all take a stroll with idnic ...

Down with cabals - who's with me?!?! We'll bring them down.

Bummer about the date timer. Perhaps you could set it on 24 hour time rather than AM/PM?

Or just be sure never to shoot in the first 12 hours or last 12 hours of a challenge?

echo, the date on your image was August, so the AM/PM thing wasn't the issues here. You might want to check to see if your camera is randomly messing with your dates somehow. Check back through old photos and see if they have corosponding dates, or if the dates on all of them are just random.

Maybe your button cell is flat, if it has one.

Sorry, don't know what got into me. Won't happen again ma'am.

You're looking exceptionally nice today, and I like what you've done with your hair. And may I say how nice you look today Kat. And you look like a new ten dollar bill denny.
