my transition involves water.. but not the way you think ;)

i am sneaky like that .. it was clever

get your camera!

For my transition photo, imma take a picture of myself throwin my camera in the water. That way i can still have water in the photo and show myself transitioning from a wannabe photographer to a fisherman.

I think I'll take a shot of a teardrop dispersing in a glass of beer. Maybe not. . .

Sounds like a good subject for a song.

I have submitted a photo that I'm rather happy with for my skill level. I just get concerned that the subject I chose will not convey what people normally think of as a transition. This challenge can be interpreted so many different ways. It should be very interesting to say the least.

Knowing the challenge should make us ALL open minded when voting

Open minded... hmmm.. that's a novel concept.. i should try that :))

That's what I'm hoping for. To me, anything is in transition if it is in the process of change. Others may look at it as moving from point A to point B. Still others may look at it as a chemical change. The word has several different meanings in the dictionary.

I think transitions is open to a more broad interpretation of fitness to the challenge than things like "Stop Motion", "Red", "and "Self Portrait."

You think ? 'Red' is quite a broad subject too :)

I've actually managed to get my picture taken already - though it is going to be a bit obvious that I was the photographer. I don't really think that is a problem is it ? (my name is in the picture...)

It will if we all vote for yours to win in anticipation of some free pizza, or is that for three wins? Maybe we will make that two wins so you can buy all the members pizza.

Doesn't it have to be 3, back to back ? Thankfully my last two entries have been getting steadily worse :)

Finally? Wow, so much pressure. It's only Tuesday.

Congratulations on knowing what you are going for so soon. I'm still mulling it over.

I had not decided what to shoot for this challenge when I happened upon one of those "right place at the right time" moments and it was decided for me.

Wouldn't a sunset be considered a transition? I'm just giving ideas.
