Number 8 man in the rugby scrum use to be my favorite position. Earned a few trips to the ER playing there. I'm still trying to play, but I'm no longer fast or fit enough to play such a key position. Maybe thats a good thing. LOL.

Its long, so I won't post it - but its from some poetry of mine that evolved into a short story that evolved into something else. The end result ended up in a lifechanging journey involving young mothers and a published book. Or maybe it was the book that evolved into the poem. Or something. LOL

Stonesinthegarden is also my email for the same reason. I had a blog by the name too at one point.

So, another notch to mark another writer. :)

I made up this name quite a few years ago. I was doing graphic art back then and need a name for a website. Unfortunately I got he freebie website, someone saw the name and bought it :( I still use it for a user name because I do like it.

Jasm is a honourary Arabic name that my Arabic friends gave me (since i'm white) and the number 8 is a special number for me... has many meanings for me, but the main one is if you turn the number 8 on its side, it is the symbol for infinity, two circles conjoined that will never, ever end. So shall the memory of me and my friends and those I hold close to my heart, for ever into infinity.

Funny you should say Aruba, that is a favorite vacation spot of a friend of mine, Off2Aruba! But again, close.

As for the second meaning, unless you know my family it might be harder to figure out

Cool! Another writer, and near the Cape too! Come visit someday! The welcome mat is out and the guest room is ready, albeit stuffed with cartons of books :-)

lynnesite was the play on words that became my domain name way back when, have used it around the web as a username too.

Shortly after publishing my shiny new site, '97 or so, a client said he couldn't find it but only a PORN site instead--I asked him how he was spelling "Lynne", sure enough, he was leaving out the "e" on the end.

Last time I checked, ole Lynn was still in business...

Mine's not colorful, just my first and middle names, but I've used it for various things (along with a few others for various OTHER things) since I first got a free Juno mail account in the summer of 1996. I was rachelellen at WBS chat. Wonder if anyone else here remembers WBS chat... :)
