I think he looks like a Scott, or a Julian, or an Ian. Or maybe Jules, Ryce, Stuart, or Daniel?

My son's name is Blaise. Not every kid in his class will have the same name!

While we're mentioning Daniel as a name, surely it would have to be Daniel Peter Charles Lucas

oh man....I looovveee names.....but unusual names.
My two boys are Cruiz and Sawyer.

I saw someone mention Brandon....you could shorten it Brand....it's more masculine IMO. (seriously considered for Cruiz)

Some names I like: (some have been mentioned)

London

Jairus

Timber

Rhace Sterling (like Race, except with the h added)This and Jairus were the names I seriously considered for Sawyer)

Montana (popular name about 10 years ago)

Chance

Kieran

For middle names...we chose Dee for Cruiz because it was his great-grandpa's name and was a family name....for Sawyer....My mom's name is Barbara and my dad's is Dennis....so I have his middle name a combination of theirs: Barden

I'm sure I'll be back with some more! :)

Oh - we got the deadline wrong - it was yesterday and the state has chosen a random name of 'Luther'.

Seriously though - this has been fascinating, not least because there have been at least six repetitions among our own shortlist. A few of our names do connect with family, etc. but I love loads of the suggestions here.

Incidentally, in the meantime we've been making do calling him bubba, cheeky chops, etc.
: )

Thanks for all the kind comments too - I'll be back to you!

I just came up with one that I like!!!! He's your third child and he's a boy....how about:

Trae' (that 'e' is suppose to have the mark above the 'e')
(prounounced like Tray)

ooohh....I like that!!!!! and he looks like one!

The other thing to think about is the short version of the name that his mates will call him. I thought I had this sussed, calling our son Matthew - naturally will be shortened to Matt, I thought, which I like. No! Across the playground came "MAFF!" in good old estuary english!

Called my daughter Leigh ( always being confused as a male when communicating by email/letter at work!) Has the middle name Emma and she now joins the two to be Leigh-emma. So I thought at least that won't be shortened! No it wasn't - it was lengthened! We all called her Lee-lee until she was about five and then it was changed to Lemma and shortened to LEM!

So ignore my advice - whatever you call him it will be changed!

:)
