I am having a really crappy day. My kids were fighting to the point of no return.
My back is much worse again. I've been out of work for 6 weeks now.
It was their last day of school which means they will be in my face all summer.
I am going to have back surgery in two weeks. Recovery out of work is like 3 months.
My daughter called me names-16yrs old is going to be a bad year!
It is raining ALL THE TIME!!!
And then, to top it off, someone actually took me OFF of their favorites! As good as it feels to be put on, it feels that bad plus more, to be removed.
Why, what did I do?
Ranting is now over...that felt good!.....Oh yeah and I got 5th place...so close yet nothing!......ok that's all

Oh yeah, and I had nothing to enter for black on black...and can't think of anything for the next two either!
LIFE SUCKS!!!

Terry. Just wanted to tell you that your photo of the bird and the ant was incredible. Also, I'm not really in many people's favorite lists. I think the people who added me just did it because I had the same camera as them or it was a mistake. So don't let that get you down. Hope clear skies come your way.

Terry, JasonPR's mention of your bird w/ant photo reminded me to go look at the rest of your work because when I voted, a 10 BTW, I was curious to see what else you'd done. You're the first favorite photographer on my list. I really like your whole body of work. I'm a sucker for buds, bugs and birds and you do them VERY WELL. Hang in there, girl! PS I'm not the only one who wanted you on their list of favorites today!

Hi everyone-
O.K. today will be a better day....well it is still raining, I still have no ideas for the next two challenges...

Thank you all for your kind words. It has been hard for me these last six weeks. At first I could do nothing but lay around( my back had gone out completely). I have not been able to take that many photos, I do go to nearby parks and homes for some flowers and ducks. I was lucky enough to have the baby birds outside in my windowbox, that brought the nature to me.
I decided to have surgery because otherwise this back problem(herniated disks) will never get better. The thought of not being able to do the one thing that I love more than anything would kill me. So I am going for the surgery(July 9) in hopes that I will be able to continue to take pics and travel after.
Cross your fingers.....
For those of you that added me to your favorites...thanks...just don't do it out of pity...I like to think I earned those.....
