Anybody notice that some voters make (excuse the cursing) shitty comments and hide themselves while voting??

I prefer to label them 'meaningless' comments.

I would say both...shitty and meaningless!! I can see being critical, but not making an ass of themselves while doing it... :(

lol, critical, shitty and mean

yeah, I've noticed and I agree; I believe critiquing is the best way to learn and improve... crude, rude and blunt is a different story.

If you believe a comment violates the site TOS, then go ahead and report it. If not, I recommend ignoring it.

It doesn't matter though, as soon as the challege is over everyone will know who made what comment.

Unless they edit it before the voting closes.

It's probably just sexual frustration :o) Or their picture is doing bad, some other person gave them a stupid comment, and they spread the virus of inanity.

True critiques take time though, something in sort supply in most of our lives. I try to do the best I can, but I usually can only leave meaningful comments on about 10-15% of the photos. You also don't want to comment on everything, but only the photo's that you really feel that you could give some kind of contribution or advice to help. Just saying "your composition is off" doesn't help anyone. Just leaves them asking what they should have done instead. Mediocre ones are the worst, because it's often hard to quanitfy why an image wasn't really better other than that you just don't like it.
