It was an excellent episode, but I do hate how they tease us.

I dont think Michelle Rodriguez fits as an Other either.

Previews have me wishing it were next Wednesday already!

At least now we know where certain things on the island come from. I won't say what just yet, as there are probably those who haven't seen it yet.

Here's my idea for the series finale: The castaways decide not to push execute... The countdown drops to 0; a few tense moments pass by... then ashton kutcher pops out of nowhere!!!... :D

All I have to say is tonight's episode better get somewhere. Last week was an exercise in frustration with us being in exactly the same place at 9:50 as we were last week. That's the realm of soap opera...

Ok, I think they need to speed things up a little. Looks like this show could go on forever. Tonights episode was ok, but really they could have summed it up in about 5 minutes. What do you think?

My husband and I are big Lost fans - and I am happy to see that some of the storyline is moving forward. The character backgrounds were important to establish an emotional connection to the characters - and I have to say that the writing and the acting is bloody superb! - but the creators/writers know that they need to start giving out some answers. Which now they are slowly starting to do.

FYI if you want to play back the Dharma Orientation video go here to this site that was created by the show //www.thehansofoundation.org/dharma.html

In that orientation video aired in last weeks episode it mentions the name B.F. Skinner. Kudos to my husband for catching that name and doing a bit of research. B.F. Skinner was a real person to quote something very interesting in the following link

"August 18, 1990, B. F. Skinner died of leukemia after becoming perhaps the most celebrated psychologist since Sigmund Freud."

//www.ship.edu/~cgboeree/skinner.html

Hmmm, methinks this is all beginning to point to "operant conditioning".......

My girlfriend and I are huge fans...we actually look forward to Wednesdays just for LOST!

And you're right...it is 'like' operative conditioning, except that it is pretty much the exact opposite...that is, there is no direct reward for the action performed....only an 'implied' reward.

we shall see.

Talk about a headbutt!!!!!!

I was shocked not to see any parts of the bunker.

Ya know, I wonder. What would REALLY happen if they stopped pressing those keys. I think someone from the company that sent the originals there would come to check and make sure everything was ok and they would all be saved. Just a random thought

I'm thinking the "others" might have been the original crew - perhaps the ones who got sick?

And what was with the teddy bear? I've seen all the episodes a couple times and I don't recall any references to it.
