I love this phenomenon about numbers, pecentages, statistics...my 2nd highest point average produced my lowest challenge ranking to date! Spend all week looking at that average rating, thinking you're doing "ok" and then...BAM! You suck! What's up with that?!!

(Hope you're all reading the sarcasism in this rant, as I am grinning ear to ear....and please don't reply with a statisics explanation - I understand the numbers - I just want someone to RANT WITH ME!!)

Is this an open rant or a statistics specific rant?

Are you sure that isn't Bush's job approval rating?

I didn't know his approval rating went up? :-)

No, I think that it's the percent of registered voters who voted for Al Gore in his home state of Tennessee in 2000.

LOL!

Actually, I was hoping this was an open sarcastic rant, because I'd like to thank all of the drivers out there who are kind enough to abruptly change lanes without looking or signaling. I understand how important you are, and that I'm priveledged to be allowed to enter your personal roadways. Thanks to you, I have developed finely tuned reflexes which enable me to drive my car as though in a video game, in anticipation of your unannounced swerving.

My life would be so dull if I were forced to travel down the road without fear of death or maiming. Please remember to always drive with a phone to your ear, while reading directions across the steering wheel, eating fast food and steering with your knee. Thanks for the excitement, and please keep up the erratic driving.

Of course this doesn't apply directly to DPC members, who would never do such things. (Photographing while driving is OK). However, please extend my sentiments to everyone you know who does display the aforementioned behavior.

no, no, no...the best is when you get a slow driver who only speeds up when you decide to pass them and then flips you off when you cut back (safely) in front of them - I love that! What a wonderful world we live in.

I vote for the overly cautious drivers who turn on their right directional signal a full 2 1/2 miles before actually making the left turn..

Um, you could be talking about me here. As an aussie driving in the USA, not only do I have to think about which side of the road I am now driving on but guess who has no idea how far it is when a sign says the turn off is a mile down the road! (ok, I am getting the hang of inches now, but miles...forget it!)
