Viola!

I personally think that some good color combos would be;
3-6/3-4/3-8/4-8/4-5/7-8/ and 1-8

:-)

Looks good. Now we get into the more scientific side of colors. Sense this is a chiropractor, we want to convey the feeling of calm and relaxation. There are colors that do this subliminally. Silver / grey conveys trust and security. Try to to do some research on the net to find more.

Well, if you really want to get into color meanings, I would suggest some greens, which represent life, renewal, growth, nature, and health. Blues are also nice.It is relaxing, calming, and cooling, but can also be seen as cold, impersonal, and sterile. While these are both cool colors, I tend to like warmer shades better. Orange would be nice, as it is energetic, vibrant, and warm. I wouldn't really recoment gray, however. It can be viewed as a cool neutral, and conservative, but it seldom evokes strong emotion, and can be seen as cloudy or moody.

So..what do you recommend?

not to rain on anyone's parade, but i can't help but think that this symbol is rather phalic looking... not sure i would want that context for a business logo.

But metallic silver is very nice, or even metallic copper.

just for the record, upon first glance, I thought that was a penis. I would stay away from it.

I know this is a sucky thing to say because somebody worked hard on this, but do you know what this logo looks like to me? (besides a penis) It looks like a ten dollar logo. I would imagine that you will be making lots of money and sometimes it takes money to make money. That logo looks like you are going to be a "doc in the box" as I have called them before. I don't know why I even care, but I think you should take more pride in your business. I would never trust my body to anybody who didn't have enough gumption to get a better logo. For real. You look cheap.

EDIT:okay, this is going to sound like pandering... but I just looked at annah's port. I don't know how I have missed her. beautiful. Added to fav's. I am truely inspired.

How about the other logos? I think kudos to Annah still for trying :)

Annah's doing some good, clean work. That said, if I were a chiropractor I'm not sure I'd want to be represented by an abstracted spinal column in which every single vertebra is seriously distorted.. I'd try to do something mor anatomically accurate...

I WILL be making a few bucks...later. But right now I have over $180,000 in student loan debt, building a practice takes money for things people dont think twice about...3 tables at $12,000 a peice, $6,000 in software, 30K for an xray machine and another 5K for a processor for the films. I might just have to wait and not get a logo until I have a little more money. Just because I WILL be making money in 5-10 years does not mean I have any now.
A nice logo will help me...thats for sure. I am not banking on a logo to build a pracitice. I am trusting my ability to allow a sick person to get well...without drugs or surgery. A successful practice to me is one where I correct the underlying cause of their problem and allow them to have a longer more productive life.
Drake...when I get everything paid off and making a little money I might give you a call for your design expertise. Thanks for the comments tho.
Make it a great day.

People, this why logo development is never shown in the early stages! Most people lack the vision to look past a current design and see the possibilities. More truth to the matter, this should be done on a designgers forum not a photographer's forum. I know very few photographers that can actually design something, but many who think they can.

More importantly, Annah's learning some very important skills that some designers don't get to experience until after college. I have Art directed many designers on countless design projects.
