Here's yet another (I just can't stop!)
based on bear's brilliant idea...

Somebody needs to teach me how to use vectors ;-)

soup...spines naturally have curves in them. they have two lordotic and 2 kyphotic curves. the kyphotic curves in the dorsal spine and sacrum are present at birth and are termed primary curves. the lordotic curves in the cervical and lumbar spine only form post partum and are termed secondary curves.

This looks like it has the makings to become quite nice. Setting it up that way does make quite a bit of difference. Definitely adds more interest to the logo.

I really like the ying/yang one that Annah did but I like this last one as well...so I switched back and forth seeing what I liked and how it made me feel.

I like the ying/yang one because it has a more 'homeopathic' feel to it. I don't care for the colors....but those can change....but the spine as the balance between the y/y has a very calming feel .. to me.

Now the other one (with the black wings, burnt orange triangle, etc)....it's more .... very businesslike....more mediciney (I know..not a word, but you know what I meant:)

So I probably boils down to the message that you're trying to convey..

Annah...I really hope you plan on going into some kind of photography/designing/anything creative that makes you happy.....you have a great eye and the advantage of being young....being younger makes you more 'unafraid' of trying new things :)

I'm not sure this design will scale down to the necessary size for the biz card. It's too complicated. You need a simple design that convey's your message to your target audience. Try to keep it 2-3 color.

Okay, here's one of my own. It is VERY rough, and the quality REALLY sucks (I did it on MS paint), but they're just concepts anyway.
I chose to incorporate the Ying Yang symbol because it represents balance (the perfect balance between family caring, and professional knowledge).

I like the concept, but the yin/ yang convey an oriental feel. Like acupuncture. A chiropracter logo should be convey a heeling by science feel, or science / anatomy. JM2C

I would certainly check this chiropractor out if I had seen this sign. Yin-yang means a lot to me. Balance is essential.

yeah but did you know that he gets royalties for every thousand shoes sold? and even more for marketing and advertising features...

The SWOOSH logo represents the wing of the Greek
Goddess NIKE. Caroline Davidson was a student at
Portland State University in advertising. She met Phil
Knight while he was teaching accounting classes and
she started doing some freelance work for his company.
Phil Knight asked Caroline to design a logo that could
be placed on the side of a shoe. She handed the SWOOSH
to Phil Knight, who gave her $35.00

I can always make it less ying-yang...

changing the colors definately isn't out of the question either.

I like your original logo better. Maybe lose the dots and let the spine show a little more.
Do you have Adobe Illustrator? or Macromedia Freehand?

Nope. I have a free trial of Corel Paint, but I'll be darned if I can figure out how that thing works. I'm using MS paint, which sucks, but it gets the main idea across...

-changed color scheme to make the spine more visible + removed dots

I think I like it better w/o the dots anna and the color scheme seems more pleasing. Got your pm and I sure will. :)

If you guys want to try something with "MFC" and then have Murrayville Family Chiropractic somehow embedded thats cool too. It doesnt really have to be a circle...it can be mostly letters.

Make it a great day.

Annah, you deserve a whole lot more than $10 for all the time you have put into this. Just my 2 cents.

Good! I'm glad. She has changed it so many times. I am glad to see that she will be rewarded for her time.
