I finally got my new 20D and tried my new used 550ex out during a high school football game yesterday. I started with the sun up and finished with the stars out. I must say that I am quit impressed with this flash, and of course the camera. I connected my 70-200/2.8 and started shooting. This camera scared the crap out of me too when the shutter cycled. It is loud! I shot at 2.8 and 800ISO for the whole game and the results are below. They are quite impressive. The first is around 7pm Central Time and the last two are at dark. I really like the shutter speed at 250 better vs the 300D set at 200 when a flash is attached. That extra 1/50th is needed when shooting night sports for sure. Any who, take a gander and give input if you like.

| Ritz Camera for $1349 plus $29 overnight shipping. There is suppose to be a $100 dollar mail-in rebate offer to from Canon. I haven't checked yet, but I am sure it is true, because Ritz said so. |

| I think that rebate was over on July 17th. I could not find any new rebates at this time. |
