Just wanted to share that I won my first (non-DPC) ribbon at the annual Lakeshore Camera Club Digital competition!!!
I entered this version of my challenge entry 'Bluetopia', and tied for second place (with one point away from tieing first), but went to "Honorable Mention" after the tie was broken!!
Nonetheless, I'm very elated with my placement - there were so many deserving images!!
Getting a ribbon here's my next challenge :) :)

Resurfacing this thread...but for ME! (C:
Finally sold my first print on DPC (finally!!)!! WOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!! Red Moonlight (made 57 centavos). A favorite of all my family members
Also won first place in the Yuma County (CO-small town boy! My mom entered them, unbedknownst to me) fair in the color photography. And also second in black and white photography with a diptrych Here and here.
And about to set up sales on another family portrait sitting! Good Week! now if I could convince all the people out there that West Nile Virus is less deadly than the flu, my REAL paying job would not be so hectic! (C: (Work ER in the CO county with the most "reported" cases of WNV and they just put out a health alert...YIPPEEEE!!!!)
