Damn you Joey...you suckered me in with the title of this thread!! I thought I was gonna get my daily dose of porn! hehehe

Your photos are extraordinary! I love them! Such an atmosphere you have created with that second one. Keep them coming!

Very nice! I think most of us can relate to number 2. It certainly captures the moment.

Sigh. Just when I think I'm getting good, Joey posts something like this.
;-)
Dood, you are really really good.

WOW (1 and 2....3is a bit different!)

Spectacular artistic work, great great vision. The composition and use of darkness is just unbelievable.

Post... Wow again, this feels so "kodak s56", the browns are spectacular.

Outstanding,

I'm not one for posed shots looking for artsy-points but you've got a neat processing technique to get the look you're going for. Neat composition as well...

And if you guys like gasmasks, you need to check out this Sigur Ros video. It's my favourite of all time...it's the video at the very top.

Great stuff!

Joey, I think I read somewhere that you actually want to get into video production? Man if you are even half as good at that as you are with still photography, the movie world is in serious trouble. You've got such a natural knack for this work and will be keeping your name handy for when I see it in lights I can say..."Yeah I knew Joey during his dirty pictures era." lol

Keep up the good---no cross that out---AMAZING work!.

Yes that's true, I started to photography on here so I could learn more, video and photos are very closely related.... Pretty much the same concept. I make more movies than pictures, (well duh, 30 frames a second my my home video camera) but yeah I'll have to post some little movies sometime. I just have trouble editing and making new stuff because it has to be done at school's computer (my home computer sucks for video and my family can't afford a new one) and now school is out. But I have been saving my money for a new computer all year, and I'm pretty much there. After the computer I was planning on buying a new camera, but what do you know, I got one donated. :-)

I'm dying to know (cuz I can't quite make it out on my monitor), what is being reflected in the raccoon's eyes in Pic 3? I just have a sneaking suspicion that you've snuck some additional level of detail in there that is so subtle I'm missing it.

I chose not to desat the color in his eyes, it's just tree branches. Since they are bright green, I thought it would bring more attention to his eyes.

I saw these the other day when you first put them on..I was going to say something then about how much I liked them, but I couldn't find the words.

I really think that you should invest in some bleach..:)

what kind of post-prod do you use for the colour filters?

I like mix the color balance and use selective color. I also like the deep color I get from duplicating the layer and using "color burn" at an opacity around 30%.
