hi all!
i have a fim 35mm
If i use a CP filter, should i increase the F stops? how many?
Can i use the CP filter in action shoots?
is there a difference using CP since i develop my film in economic locations such as sam's where quality is comprise.
thanks :)

Yes you should definetly increse the fstop, probably by two, but the exact number should be somewhere on the filter. I wouldn't suggest using it for action shots unless it is very bright and able to keep the shutter speed fast so as to still stop motion. The polarizer would certainly help picture quality in many circumstances but if you want the best results you should be printing at a nicer location(ritz/wolfcamera or many places online now provide high quality prints at affordable rates). Hope this helps

hi trnqlty!

I'll check the filter about the stops.im sure the number increase is not on it. this filter is quantaray brand purchased at ritz.
i have developed like 3 films at Ritz but its TOO expensive and im not sure if the pics will be worth it. as of today, im saving avery penny to but either D70 or XT.

If you use in-camera metering, just meter as usual.

Why do you want a polariser for action shots? Can't think of many occasions where this would help.

I wouldn't leave a CP on my lens if I wanted action shots.
