I sure like comments, but of the 6 that I have 4 say too posed or contrived, yet the challenge says COMPOSE your best.....
'Garbage! Garbage is everywhere. Compose your best photograph of garbage, trash, or waste this week (9/30-10/06).'

I think the key to composing (setting up) a good still life, is to make it appear uncomposed, if that makes any sense. Perhaps someone that knows more about how to set up a shot that doesn't look set up will join this thread and we can learn something :) I know this is something I struggle with as well.
But if 4 out of 6 comment on something they see as a flaw, it's usually a good idea to assume they may have a point. :)

| Composing a 3D tableau as a subject is not quite the same meaning as to compose a photo... |
