Thank you very much for the good response on this pic. There is a story behind it. My friends took me wheelchair and all to take some shots for the challenge at the palace. I shot some shots and just after taking a series of the shots from which this one came.... I fainted. Dropped like a sack of maize. I was so embarrassed. And peed off with myself. The damage to my camera is not that bad... basically my autofocus lights now shine outside their litle boxes(sounds like a joke... outside the box). Will have to have it fixed sometime.

But the sweet result... makes up for it all.

I salute you.

One of my favorites in the challenge, what color contrast and the texture in the wood showing the cracks is amazing. Hope you'll have a speedy recovery, never mind the camera, those can be replaced. All good wishes for you.

Sorry to hear about your fall and about the camera damage. If there were such a thing, you'd win the DPC Greatest Effort ribbon, hands down. Congrats on the fine showing of your image. Like lentil said, the colours are amazing, especially the greens. Also adding to my favs.

Sorry - at first I thought you meant you peed on yourself.. and was thinking that the damage came from that! Now I realize that you fell (which is certainly worse) - I hope you didn't get too banged up and wish you a speedy recovery.

Hope you (and your camera;) are recovering well from your fall. Is there anything you can take to counteract the fainting or was it a one off or just something you have to live with?
Bestest,
Kavey
