How's this for subtle subliminal messaging?? VOTE 10!!!

Decided to go with another of my 12+ macro set-ups.

Partial Print ID: Timothy Leary

Thought it would be too abstract and processed for DPC taste. So submitted something else.

Very nice but I wonder if DPC would of considered it artwork without any other element in it.

I've been trying to think of something more interesting than bugs to enter but I'm completely flat on ideas. I hope the creative juices will start to flow for an 11th hour entry.

until then....

No macro lens, this was the best I could come up with. Went with funny instead.

Little early for outtakes, isn't it? Contest isn't over yet.

Decided to go a different way. Still not sure if I should have.

by posting outtakes could you not be taking someone elses idea and even tho you have shot it may have similarities to that persons photo for the challenge???

I would like to see all outtakes shots posted only after the challenge is over.

I have to agree with that. It also gives people ideas.

Current Challenge
Discuss the current challenge and how you feel about it or ideas you may have…

This is one of the forum topic headings. You can discuss ideas you may have for upcoming challenges and why not? Besides, you really can't "take" someones idea unless they tell you what that idea is.

I agree with ya - should be no outtakes prior to the END of a challenge. Gives others ideas, may resemble another's entry too closely, and if it does resemble another and gets negative comments here those comments can carry over to the entry that is resembles.

Why this happens week in and week out just dumbfounds me.

It should not be allowed, period. But since SC does nothing about it, it will never end.

Guys- you need to wait on posting outtakes until AFTER the challenge starts.

Please, we really need your help on self policing this. It's reaching a point where we are getting a real increase in complaints. Because I've recieved several complaints, I will be locking this thread. I will reopen it after changeover.
