If anyone's interested, Buy.com offers a 2Gb Kingston Elite Pro compactflash card for $105 after a $25 rebate. Use THIS 10% off coupon and the price drops to $93, with free shipping (the coupon expires 6/26). This card performs at about 40X speed.

ya i have the 1gb kingston elite pro and it's pretty good. i haven't done formal tests with the continuous mode on my camera but i'll say it's fast enough for me

i don't do much sports or anything like that though so i never really need continuous shooting though

Tom

It's $117 and there is a $25 rebate - don't forget to print it. The super saver shipping is the free one

That sucks... Anyone got 93 clams I can borrow?
06/25/2005 04:50:05 PM · #12
Not me... I just spent $68 on a 1Gb card two days ago. :-(

Hmmm... I clicked the link and it says the price before rebate is $130.74. Where are you people seeing $117 before rebate?
06/25/2005 08:47:38 PM · #14
You didn't use the 10% off coupon. See the link in my original post.

OK I ordered one, but the deal is a bit different than Scalvert posted. The original price is $ 130.74. They then first apply the 10% discount, which leaves the net price to be $ 117.67.

Contrary to what scalvert posted, there is no free shipping on this, Shipping for me was $ 5.59. Total price = $123.26.

I also downloaded the $25 rebate form, so, after postage and waiting for the rebate to get here, the final price will be $ 98.63.

Still not a bad deal.

shipping was free, you just had to change the time frame to 5 to 7 days they automatically put a short shipping time so they can charge you , just change it

Sold out - One could come to the conclusion that they had 3 at that price, not that buy.com would ever do that :-)
