heres my butterfly photo. i would love to see others as they are one of my favorite things.if u have one please post it here for all to see.

Those are gorgeous!! I love butterflies but rarely get to capture an image of them. Here are two...

I liked this shot - but the camera tends toward soft focus.

wow..great butterfly photos.

i want to open this thread up to moths too. i just finished "re-working" my granular challenge entry..what do ya think..better? i cloned out the glass and did a serious crop and more cloneing for the zoom barrell. u probably can tell where i cloned as this is my 2nd attempt at it.

Right around sunset Penny and I were setting and enjoying our new water garden and feeding the fish when I was able to catch a few shots of this visitor.

The plant is a Butterfly Bush and the color is Kings Purple.
We have three bushes right now a White, Lavender and the Kings Purple.

The plant below that is a Dahlia

this is just about the only thread I can't post a picture in, we just don't have any colorful butterflies here in Iceland, ours are very small and grey, there comes ocationally a colorful butterfly with shipments of fruits and veggies from wamer countries, but they don't breed here.

the good thing is that we don't have any other bugs here that live in warmer climates :)

only a few small spiders and houseflies :)
