How about a challenge representing the change in season?

For those in the Northern Hemisphere, it would be the change from summer to fall. For those in the Southern Hemispher, it would be the dawning of a new spring!

Changing Seasons is a good idea. I also thought today of having to photograph acts of nature, such as wheather. I wouldn't mind seeing what photos people have captured of the hurricane in Louisana, as long as they were safely doing it. I lived in Texas when Hurricane Gilbert hit the Gulf almost 10 years ago. I was much further north inland, but I got to see the very edge of the band of clouds at sunset. It was beautiful and I wish I would have had my photo craze then.

Does anyone here on DPC live in Louisiana?

What about us that live close to the equator? We don't have seasons.

Sorry, didn't mean to forget about those close to the equator!

The photo could equally be about something that represents the lack of change in seasons, as well.

Or perhaps it could be about something that customarily occurs during this time of year-- I'm not sure where you leave... but something like perhaps the beginning of the rain season, a harvest, or the beginning/end of tourist season (if you live in a tourist area).

Of course someone will shot putting salt on food. Get it? Change in the season?

Nevermind :)

I love the idea of the change of seasons, although I must chime in that here in Florida the changes are quite subtle. More than likely those who aren't familiar with subtropical, or tropical climates, would fail to see the relationship and claim "OFF SUBJECT!!!" Personally I can creatively document the changes but can the voter recognize them?
