Boy I am really bombing with my image in the "Darkness" challenge, low score and weird comments to boot....the latest comment was to tell me that the judge(r) was giving me a "unscored". Please don't confuse this post as a whine or complaint, just hope some folks start to realize the level of expertize some folks have who are judging your images. The most important thing is that you, the artist, know how hard you are working towards your art and it doesn't matter that some people just don't get it. Strive on folks and "damn the torpedoes"

I'm with you Barry! :) However I do on the challenges, I still enjoy taking photos, and I know I am gaining experience as I go. I go for the more "unusual" myself, and that tends to get me in trouble as far as voting goes. I've really enjoyed the darkness photos, and hopefully I gave you a good vote! :) What I like to do is post in my portfolio, and then ask for comments in the "Individual Photography" forum. I tend to get a lot of assistance there.

Good luck! :)
