Foreground way burned out, focus uncertain, not a very strong macro, sorry.

here's one of my first macros with my new rebel and sigma 70-300 +'macro' lens

Dragonfly

by the way those cheap 'close up filters will they allow me to focus closer to what I'm photographing? or are they a waste?

what's the difference? the dragonflies wings won't fold up... right??
