Okay, I realize there are ways to do this, but with all the wonderful ideas presented in the suggestions forum, where do we come up with such lame ideas as 'Decisions'? Photograph something that happens inside your head. This should be real fun. NOT! I'm sorry, but this challenge is hurtin'!

Well they had to decide on something.

Sorry you don't like this one. There are quite a few members who like abstract or conceptual challenge topics. We try to run a wide variety of challenges, and the reality is everyone will dislike some of them -- this one is yours.

Every challenge topic we run was suggested by someone -- mostly registered users and members, but in some cases by Drew, Langdon or a member of Site Council (we're also users too, remember?).

Remember that DPC is over three years old -- some suggestions were made quite some time ago. The Decisions challenge is in the database with a Date Requested of 03/07/2004, so it's one of them.

Thanks Terry for the info. Thank you for your investigative work, and feed back, however, there's really no need on my part for a defense of the challenge idea. As you mentioned earlier, everyone dislikes some of the challenges. This one is mine. It is good to know, however that in a year and a half from now, some of the good ideas being presented now, will be up for review, and considered as challenges.

I actually got an idea. Maybe I'll dress up like a scarecrow, and cross my arms, while pointing in different directions...ohhhh...that would be "indecision". Sorry. I just can't seem to decide on this one. Have fun with it everyone. That's what it is all about. Enjoy and Good Luck.

I just find that it overlaps quite a bit with the indecision challenge we had last year.

I am drawing a blank on this one right now.

I love it... The more the theme is abstract and wide, so does the mind of the viewers. Not as many "does not the challenge". Also the viewing (voting) is way more fun since you it's more diversified and there's a surprise every click. You never what to expect. Should be fun, I allready have my concept in mind. Working on the "now how exactly do you put this in frame?..." part.

Lots of people are pointing to the Indecision challenge, but nobody has mentioned Choices? There's a lot more in common with that one.

i hope people realize since they are referring to those other two challenges that deciding and choosing is different than an actual decision.

Well...guess you need to make a 'Decision'. Start from there. ;^)
