My husband, since I took the picture. This is a mostly tame black wolf. We went with two handlers and a wolf-dog cross so we could come even this close to the real thing.

Should spray paint a long looking lens white and add some red tape to the end and say the wolf ran off with it. Get some insurance money :P

Photo title: "A Fox and a wolf"

Couldn't resist ;)

Even though his face is turned, for some reason, he doesn't look at all worried to see this fellow. I think I might have tucked my legs in under my body so as not to offer the wolf a bone. ;)

A wolf has a spirit that I can see, that no non-native could ever understand.

When I think 'WOLF"...this image is exactly what comes to mind. That face, teeth, and flowing hair...those EYES! Great capture!

I think anyone who has truly learned to respect Nature is capable of seeing that spirit if they learn to open their heart and mind to it. Learning to look for it unfortunately doesn't occur to many people. They are indeed awesome creatures.

thanks everyone. Anyone wanting to see more of this fellow feel free to email me. I have about a 1000 shots (no I am not kidding, this is why I HAVE to shoot digital) and out of those I am hoping to upload about 10 of the best.
