I'm quite sure that any of my outtakes would have done better than my submission. I think anything with a blue sky did well.
Please give me your opinions.
Two of the outtakes were not taken during the time frame, but would have been retaken.

Terry, out of your outtakes I really like the church and the barbed wire... but the shoes the most.

I very much like the shoes too. I would have scored that quite high. I like the angle, and the concept would have worked really good for childhood without children too. :) And from the ground up. lol. Good shot!

Man, I had a somewhat similar "shoes" shot which was an outtake from last week -- I didn't think if re-shooting it for the "negative" challenge! I like the steeple too...

Terry, Church Steeple is nice a crisp with great coloring. The only thing I'd rather see in it is a slightly different angle to show the shape of the cross better, since that encapsulates what the church is all about. Still very nice though. Barbed Wire is also very good. A very simple, uncomplicated image. I love the rust! The others are good too but these are my favorites.

I had a difficult time picking JUST ONE image to submit to the Negative Space challenge. Take a look at my OUTTAKES Comments are welcome.

I like the one you submitted the best -- simple clean composition which made its point immediately (and reminded me of a cassette cover I designed almost 20 years ago!).

I FINALLY picked the right one and placed higher than I ever had. Seems week after week I'd submit the wrong one. Hubby helped me decide. He helped me this week too but mine isn't doing too well. Started in the 4. something and is slowly rising but, as one person commented, "I don't see how this meets the challenge." It really DOES meet it. oh well!

Oh Grayce! I didn't think anyone would dare use that phrase this time. The interpertation is completely open. Their bad not yours.

All very good - technically the light-bulb has less 'issues' but I like
all 3 of them.

I scored Edison a 10 as my fav picture of the week. The others don't compare, imo

I liked the powder shot the best -- fit the challenge well and had both stop-motion and swirly cloud shapes, both of which I (and I think a lot of people) like.
