Does any one have any experience with digital picture frames?
Like the idea to display pictures i have taken, sideshow feature would be a plus. Starting to see more and more of these pop up from 5 to 11 inches in size and from 100+ to 1000+ US dollars.
Would like to stay in that 250 or less range but not really sure if they would supply the bang for the buck.

If anyone has , or has used one could they please tell the Model and a brief review of what you think about the Unit. Positive and negative features.
Thanks,

I have a Ceiva. I bought it before I got interested in digital photography to use for pictures of the family, but now love adding my photos to it.

Plus: you can set up folders and the Ceiva will automatically rotate images within those folders so that you don't see the same images every day unless you just want to.

Minus: I have friends and family who want a folder of my work that they can rotate images from, but I've received no response from my fax to Ceiva. There's no email address.

There is a monthly service fee and it's no good without it! But it's minimal, and my husband and I certainly enjoy it.

I also thought about getting one, but IMHO they're just too expensive for what they are. Hopefully they'll be affordable some day. With the large increase in digital camera sales, they should drop in price. I hope so anyway.

I have been waiting and watching for an affordable one, too.

Best thing we can do is pester them - ask for one in every electronics type store you go to (I always do) - in time they'll get the message that there is a demand for them and they WILL get them.

I am still waiting for the day when iPODs are in those quarter machines at the grocery store between the sticky-hands and gumballs.

May not be that far off...
