That's the conclusion I arrived at a few weeks ago after some serious thought. The only way to stand out now is to have only the holes and markings you were born with.

Here's my story, see if you think it is a good reason. When I had cancer they gave me six tattoos to line up the radiation treatment. Each was an ugly green dot. The one that was most visible was larger than the rest and on my chest. When I reached my ten year mark I had the green spots tatooed over with stars as a symbol of hope.

AJAger -- I dig the Escher ink. I had considered doing an Escher on my back.

I have a theory on tats -- you see people living with silly Taz ink plastered on their bicep, then maybe a slightly cooler, but still out of the book image, then maybe 3 or 4 tats down the road they get something original. My thinking is go big, go creative, go personal right off the bat. Skip the book & wall stuff. Of course, I'm still working on designing mine... damn shame being an illustrator... it's never quite finished to my satisfaction...
