What used to be my work corner:

To give this a bit more scale; there is a 19" monitor on the desk and a 17" underneath. The room has changed (we moved) and neither of the monitors pictured work now, but it's basically the same as it was then.

Here's mine. It's a bit messy right now but who cares!

If you are wondering what the white tube is on the left, that blows cool air directly into my overclocked PC. Very cool, pun intended. LOL

this is my workplace at home, or at least a part of it.

I have a dual 2GHz G5 under the desk connected to the 23" apple HD cinema display
the small box in the corner is a AMD XP2700 connected to the 19" sony lcd
ad the 12" powerbook is on the stand.
on the left there is the Epson 2100/2200
on the left is the HP officejet G55
and some other stuff laying around, like 400GB Lacie bigdisk and 200GB Lacie D2, gretagmacbeth eye-one and my friend, the gigant trackball :)

Here's my work corner. Note the professional range, 40 inches wide with 5 burners and 2 ovens. The "work triangle" behind the island is flawless; one step in any direction gives me island ~ stove ~ ~ sink ~ reefer/dishwasher ~ all cutlery and crockery storage. Under the island is the big pans, top of island is huge, full-with compartmented drawer with all miscellaneous small tools therein.

Oh, you meant my PHOTOGRAPHY work? Happy to oblige. First view from front door into office/gallery. View of work station shows my ElectronBlue 22 inch monitor, and cunningly contrived black-shirt-cover for my Epson 2100 printer, used because the skylight will often send light directly down onto this spot and keep me from working unless I over it with matte black.

Nice place Robert. Got space for someone who eats a lot and makes lots of mess...LOL

It's my pride and joy, the place where I plan to (eventually) die. Rehabbed it myself out of a derelict meeting hall, the basic structure is over 100 years old, post and beam construction.

Philistine! Can't you recognize cutting-edge design (49.95 at Staples) when you see it?

OK after seeing all the other workcorners I have come to realize mine is the messy to the max. So I am going to clean up my act.

More of a work wall, really. Most of the desk can go hidden if needed.

It's very handy for when I get too absorbed in something and the coffee goes cold (a frequent occurrence).

Actually, there is a plan for that section of the world to have doors on it ... there's been a plan for that for about a year now :-/

It is very good of your helpers to be polite enough to sit to the side. Mine refuse to be anywhere but stretched out across the keyboard.

Man that is some expensive stuff. :)

That is some high quality shelving. Will be classified as an antique before long. Go on the Roadshow and sell it for $1000s of dollars.

A place for everything, and everything in its place.
Well, I know where everything is!
