Lets have a challenge on the word ‘Set’.

The English word with the most meanings is the simple 3-letter word 'set'. It has 51 meanings as a noun, 126 meanings as a verb, and 10 meanings as a participle adjective.

It would be hard not to meet the challenge but would be interesting voting on.

Edit: This is posted in fun :) , not to be taken as being sarcastic.

... a few submittors woudl achieve this illustrious goal!

or:

... it would ensure rampant "does not meet challenge" comments, because LMVs (Literal-Minded Voters) would be free to choose the most obscure defintition as "The Right One."

Set: Your photo should at least show 5 different meanings of the word set.

Nice thought, but as kirbic says, "... it would ensure rampant "does not meet challenge" comments, because LMVs (Literal-Minded Voters) would be free to choose the most obscure defintition as "The Right One." "

This is not a particularly good site to enter images that the vast majority of voters would instantly see a connection to the challenge topic, even when plainly stated.

There are far to many folks with low intelligience quotients that would vote those images low scores because of their own limited perceptions. It would be to frustrating for creative minds.

That is not to say there is anything wrong with voters. There isn't. The strength of this site is in it's diversity and therefore not in it's tolerance of extreme ideas.

Maybe for this particular challenge we could post the photographer's comments with the entry, for "clarification" purposes only.

I agree that some people would misinterpret some photos, but I'm all for the idea as it sounds like a fun challenge.

An idea came in to my head right away. I think everyone would recognize that it met the challenge without doubt, but just to make sure I could crutch it up with the title. Do the low intelligence qoutient people vote you down for that too? ;)

I wish you would be a little more subtle when speaking about my voting practices... I'm standing right here.

I think Davidson dropped a "not" somewhere :-)
