I'm kinda new here. Still getting to know everyone. There are so many talented people. I think I would like to hang with GRIGRIGIRL. I really like her style. This photo is one of my faves.

I think that Jean-Jacques Beguin (jjbeguin) is far and away my favourite photographer on this site and I would most love to be mentored by him. I can't begin to describe how perfectly his photos strike a chord with me...

Other than that, Pedro, John Setzler, graphicfunk, bear_music, nsbca7 and zeuszen all stand out as people who I appreciate very much for varying reasons.

And buzzrock is somebody I'm going to keep an eye on!

I would hang out with Terje. From what I know of him he's a real cool dude and I like his style. You can see more of his stuff here.

As for non DPC folk, I'd like to shoot with this dude. He lives in the same city as I do, but he has such a better eye for photography than me. He's got some real nice stuff.

Easy question: kiwiness...

There is so much in his photography that moves me. Now if I am with him for a day, that means that his equally talented wife, anastassia will also be around. She has a flawless touch on her photos. That's a royal package, isn't it?

Well, Obviously my first choice is Jacko!
A mix of golf and pictures!

Kiwiness, Cuz he just rocks, and has supported me from my start here.
Sher, who wouldnt wanna hang out with her, talented and sweet!
Artyste, my new choice for most underrated on DPC.
LaurieBlack, just so we could jam out some Kenny and Keith while we take pics.
and Finally-- a shocker.
Moodville, I think it would be fun to go shoot some wildlife with ya, :)

jjbeguin, I like his work. I shouldn't pick favourites but this is one of them!

jjbequin (I would be his photography slave hoping that a minute fraction of his natural ability might rub off on me!), jmsetzler, and then in no particular order kiwiness, anastasia (the best reason to hang out with kiwiness!), bradp, graphicfunk, heida (OK, move her up cause she's hot!), jacko, artyste, clubjuggle. I could add more, but I'd have to go through the entire member list...

xion because I enjoy his style...

Oh, just one? Really? But that's impossible... I am torn between two!

Jacko - my fellow Canadian who is so brilliant and his photos just rock!

and

Kiwiness - because not only he is the best of bests, but also because he makes me laugh. I just adore him!

and

This one is for her... my darling NewZealander friend - Sally

This question requires waaaay too much thought for this time of the day.

I think it would be pretty hard to go past a day out in london with imagineer and/or e301 - not only are they magnificent photogs but both of them seem like really great blokes. Then on the other hand, JJbeguin stands out as a giant in this whole photography caper.... a few more seconds of thought and I'm struck by how great it would have been to interrupt librodo's and pedros's thailand redezvous. Then names like grigrigirl, sahko, terje and heida start to circulate and my head starts to spin.

The moral of this story is probably that I gave it too much thought !

But when there's 36 people in my favourites and probably a few hundred other photogs on this site that I could not only learn a lot from, but have a complete blast with on a day out shooting can you blame me ?

i couldn't/can't pick one.

but, i can definitely say it was worth the effort to go spend a couple days with xion, and it was really a blast to spend some time with imagineer and e301.

i learned a lot from all of them in a the short time i had, and i would recommend to everyone, not just to sit back and think about this, but to do something about it! if there's somebody you think you could learn from, try to find a way to make the effort--you never know what may come from it...

There are so many here that I would love to follow around and learn from, all for different reasons. Just a few:

Graphicfunk, BearMusic, Kirbic, Librodo, Jacko, Scalvert, JMSeltzer, Librodo, Imagineer, Artyste, Zoomdak, etc... No offense if I left you out, the list goes on and on.

But staying here in SoCal I'd probably choose BradP, just as long as he doesn't try to show me his big telephoto too. ;^) He seems like a fun guy to hang around with, and has a knack for finding an excellent shot.

2 out of three potentials there (no beer)
Nope 1 out of 3 - have trouble fixing a sandwich.

Guess you are left with bringing you own beer & fixing your own car.
Forget it. We'll just drink your beer, watch TV and call a cab.

:)

I forgot to mention Parrothead.. There's a lot of learning for the type of photography I'd like to do that he can give me..

However.. don't see him around much anymore.

Where oh where is Parrothead!?
