I'm not Catholic, but it might be of interest to anyone not watching the news, that the Pope just passed away.
God's speed.

I'm glad it wasn't too drawn out. The funeral will be however.

Hope not. I'm supposed to be in Rome the 14th.

As I read this, I thought what a tacky April Fool's joke.
Now I realize it wasn't.

Wish we could all leave such a legacy behind us.

I was talking about in the press, but now that you mention it I'm sure I'd hate to have to be in Rome in the upcomeing week. Should be quite over by the 14th.

I don't watch CNN. Sometimes they are too quick to report.

I am not even Catholic and took offense to that and I have a twisted sense of humor. Bad taste.

I just hope they don't keep him alive on a machine for the next 15 years! That seems to be ok to most people... til it happens to them.

I certainly hope this is not your way of an april fool's joke tho. haven't watched the news, but this is really important.

My heart to this wonderful man.

Having read the rest of the thread, think I'll go watch the news then. At least it didn't drag on like the Schiavo case.
