no no thats Bushel of Pods

We are to photograph raw produce? not cooked or other wise processed?

I think the challenge is *meant* to be interpreted as using raw produce, or produce mostly in its natural form however the interpretation is up to the person. If you shove a bunch of peas in a blender and take a picture... well it's mushed up green stuff.. doesn't look like peas and the title would have to help to identify just what it is inside this blender.

I think the challenge is meant for people to use the form of the vegetables/fruit more so than taking a literal perspective and being technical in saying "well mushed up peas and apples IS fruits and veggies...."

I would really like to know what Drew and Langdon think of these conversations.

Drew: "Well, that description has is about as clear as can be."

Langdon: "Yep, there shouldn't be any confusion this time"

Drew: "Hey, look, there is a thread discussing the challenge topic"

In unison: "Doh!"

A popular politcal/satirical bumper sticker out here reads "VISUALIZE WHIRLED PEAS"

I think that if the entry is too hard to determine if it fits in the category, then you can assume it was probably either shot by a fruit or a vegetable.
I just got home from work, so give me a break.

I think that qualifies as a meat.

... and any of them critiques that we don't like will be made by a fruit or a vegetable! :-)

Does it meet the challenge?

How many fruits and/or vegatables can fit on the head of the pin?

and other questions unanswerable.

How many fruits does it take to change a lightbulb?

A french fruit

If you don't want to see any 'does not meet the challenge' I'd avoid mushrooms... They are, technically, a fungus... Personally, I would have no problem with it, but there are those among us that search for a reason to say 'does not meet the challenge'... Everyone plays their own game :)

And a can of worms = can of meat? I thought it = a fish for dinner :)

"Mushrooms" are the fruiting bodies of certain parasitic plants. They are technically not "fruits" only because the reproductive cells produced (spores) are to primitive in structure to be called "seeds." They are definitely plants, definitely eaten (not always safely). Anyone who does not accept a mushroom as either a fruit or a vegetable within the context of this challenge will be emailed a different mushroom recipe or article daily until they repent...

I am not submitting a mushroom, although if I did I might try and try and find another one of these.
