For the time being I figured we could at least start a thread on where we are from since there it is nothing in the search thing yet :o)

I'm in the lovely "sunshine state" of Florida
(although in the summer it rains everyday!)

I'm actually over in the Orlando area :o)
(Mickey Mouse's backyard to be exact - Celebration)

Hope everyone is having a great day and good luck with the challenge!

I am in reston, Virgina. 'Sunny side uo' outside right now.
Mickey mouse is not around but I see Georges (this is the groundhog wandering in front of my windows at the office at a very very cool pace').
Lionel

PS : Georges is pretty philosophical and 'zen' about the challenges we are doing ;-)

I'm from Columbus, OH, USA. The capital city of the Buckeye State. Just a stone's throw from The Ohio State University (the university seems to really want that "The" in there, I think for legal reasons). We could sure use some of that Florida rain up here. I'd like to have some green grass, not tan!

hehe I was born in Atlanta JAAW_JA, but have lived more or less in Missouri sence 9th grade. My little bedroom community is very close to the Missouri River. (lots of misquitoes - ug)

Lionel, the map only hold 100 pens. Old people can get bumped off by the new.

The blue ridge was a favorite childhood vacation spot.

I live between the city of Monterrey, State of Nuevo León, México, and McAllen, Texas... it´s a long story. I was born in México City, and decided to get away from the 20 something million that crowd it, and come to a nice quiet place of only 5 million... Then I really go and rest in McAllen, at the Rio Grande Valley, South Texas, right at the border with México.

I'm in the drought-stricken forest of Flagstaff, Arizona...okay, well I'm really in the shadow of a dusty cement factory a couple miles from the forest. But still, it's dry & crispy as the dickens.

Zeissman, I feel for you. I spent 24 years in Phoenix. What a broiler. Your moving into the nice weather now though :)

Now if only there would be a dpchallenge involving the Grand Canyon in some way....

Born and raised in NYC, spent most of my adult life in upstate New York, eg: Catskills, deep in the heart of the Adirondacks, and the Hudson Valley.
Shutterfly most of my in-laws still live in the mid-Hudson region and I know it very well. Mahopac, Poughkeepsie, Stormville, Lake Mohegan, and Carmel.
Kaz, the coast of Maine is one of my favorite places on earth and we have vacationed there. Sooooooo beautiful!
To all of you Californians, I've spent a lot of time along the coast. My sister lives in Capitola-By-The-Sea and other family in and around Santa Cruz, and down in La Puente. A couple of years ago I flew out to visit, then took the scenic route home to NY via rail. It was WONDERFUL!!!
I recently left New York and now live on the Treasure Coast of Florida, to be near MORE family.

Hey lionelm... I hope you are taking good care of the groundhog! I'm from Punxsutawney, PA, which you may recognize as the home of Phil, the world's most famous groundhog :)

I live a couple hours away now, near Pittsburgh, but I am the webmaster for several Punxsutawney-related web sites:
