Hi

I haven't been in any challenge in a while but I did take some pictures today on my field trip to Dallas World Aquarium in Dallas TX. My mom (laurielblack) thought I should let you see them. I'm only 11 so I know that there are things wrong with them but I had fun and like how they look. Mom helped me fix the ones that were the best and she put them here at this place so you can see them.

Thanks,
André

Hey Andre! I really like the one of the shark where you are looking at it from below. And the flamingos look very cool! The jelly fish are also very cool. I think you did a very nice job!

Keep it up and you are going to be way better than your mom! :)

You got some cool photos there. I especially like the one with the people peering through the hole, and the jellyfish.

Keep at it!

Love your flamingo photos! You've got some natural talent (must get it from your mom, huh???!!!). Good luck competing against her; healthy challenge is good.

Looks like I have even more competition now... ;o)

Your pictures are wonderful and I think you did a terrific job with all of them! My favorites are the jellyfish, the anemone (I think that's what it was) and the stingray pool from above. I'm glad you had a good time today! :o)

Very cool photos André! A lot better than many that you see in challenges here on DPC. If you don't believe me, just look at the winners of the recent Self-Portrait III challenge.

Nice Job Kiddo! Wish my kids shared my hobbies... its all I can do to get them to pose in some of my shots. Your Mom will be a great teacher. Good Luck! :o)

Andre,

Don't tell anybody, but I think you will probably be a lot better photographer than your mom. You will prove it, too, if she ever lets you use the good camera. :)

Andre very nice work :)

I like these shots:

Andre 1

Andre 2

My wife and I drove by the Dallas World Aquarium last weekend and the line to get in was wrapped all around the building LOL

Did they still have the large Emperor Angelfish in there?

Great work Andre! These came out better than most of the aquarium pictures I took last summer.

I especially liked this one : )

If you and your mom each chip in $1/month you can get a membership here, so you can also put pictures directly to your portfolio, which makes it easier to post them for comments.

good work andre, looks like you are off to a good start. There are a few images I could not have done better. Now you just need to enter a challenge or 2 and beat your Mom!!!
