All the comments on my image were great which leaves me wondering what i could have done to make this image better?

| This has a real Artistic feeling to it and so I guess that might be one reason. I gave it a ten myself and am surprised it didn't score higher. Very nice job Geocide. |

Yeah, the "artsy" look might have hurt. I liked it and gave it a 7. It shouldn't have gotten so many 5s, but that's the nature of the site.

Grainy, "arty", awkward, tense pose, seems to be "saying" something, no way it can finish higher. You done good. Really.

imo the pose is akward and it doesnt connect with me as being artsy. I think there was more that i disliked about the photo than i liked...

| Hey, you predicted 4s and got a 5.7. Sheesh! You probably got hit for the unnatural pose, expressionless face, and gritty processing. SelfBW is WAYY better (especially if you cropped halfway through the back on the left side). |

It is very annoying when you receive all favourable comments yet score low, it has happened to me. Even more frustrating is when the comments contradict each other eg:
Comment 1: Great image I love the way you XXX
Comment 2: I would have scored higher if you didn't XXX, it's too distracting.
I felt your image was very creative and scored 8 but what wins here is mass appeal. |

| I liked this one and gave it a high score. I was very disappointed to see it ranked lower than I expected. However, the "self" one you have in your portfolio would probably have done better with the voters (I say probably because I certainly haven't figured that out yet!!!). But "self" is a great self-portrait and more traditional (less artsy). But I like artsy. |

| I think you appeared uncomfortable in that pose; as though your neck was angled oddly...it did have a Buddha-like quality though. |
