I wouldn't take anything I say too much to heart because I'm not a very amazing photographer, but I really like the b/w rose one and with the pink flowers it's nice but I think the two unbloomed buds in the background are a bit distracting. But it's all about taste because art is different for everyone. :) As for the first one I'm not a big fan of scenery pictures but I really like the sky, and maybe cropping out the green bit at the bottom? Second one is nice, I like it also. :)

I like the B&W rose as well but I think it should be cropped in a little more... Nice job otherwise...

I might have straightened it a tad bit more (towards straight up) but my pick is the machinery shot (#2) with the interesting perspective. Rusty colors and sky work well together, and it isn't something I see everyday.

I agree. I really like the machinery. I am very partial to industrial shots, being in a pretty blue collar place myself. That one is my fave! Great perspective on it.

The second one is definitely my favorite. The interesting point of view makes for an interesting photo. The last one is nice as well.. good bokeh. :)

I went back and fiddled a little with that first image, since it's such a pretty shot (and I'm teaching myself better post-processing.. if you mind at all about me doing this, please let me know) This is what I came up with, just out of personal preferences:

I played with the first one also. Hope you don't mind I need the practice too. This is what I came up with.

Let me know when you get this and I will take it off my portfolio if you want it. I like all the pics. You obviously know what you are doing.

Phil,
Pls. use links or clickable thumbnails when posting images, so those on dialup are not swamped when they load the thread.

Thx,
