This happens often with the non-member challenges. It'll be up by tomorrow.

If you go to bed, close your eyes real tight and wish upon a star... maybe in the morning there will be a brand new challenge waiting for you.... (hehehe)

It's supposed to be frustrating for the "registered users" only -- note that the paid-member challenges "usually" get posted on time.

I don't understand why this isn't automated ... would it be that tricky (I know nothing about coding at all)?

Anyhow. Getting a touch irritating in the UK: the same as last week, I'm going out with the camera now, and don't get to know what I'm shooting for ...

SO if all the registered users would sign up for membership only $25.00 a year probably less then what is spent in gas a week.. Then we wouldnt need any more challenges for just the registered users:)

And just because the challenge gets posted 6 hours late doesn't mean you get to make up those 6 hours later :/

I look at all challenges as the same. If anything, the open challenges are the biggest ones because of more submissions, and im not sure about more competition though.

Well, we do actually - you just have to be prepared to go out after midnight on a Tuesday night, shoot, get home, process and upload before 5:00 a.m.

<Satire> <Cone of silence down> Should we be discussing these dastardly plans in an open forum? </Cone of silence up> </satire>

No, that that tricky at all. It probably could be added to the end of submission/voting period automation without too much trouble. They could even create a month-long queue of preselected challenges (with the option to alter, of course) and go on vaction without being concerned we were being left hanging for challenges. :)
