Edit: only 52% of Newfoundlanders chose to be apart of confederation.
Seems to be common sense that eventually the other 48% would get pissed off. lol

Thanks Nonage. I just ordered a test run of 4(2 matte - 2 glossy) - 16 x 20 for the Downhomer Store. Hopefully they'll get them in the next week to 10 days. If you happen by Water Street sometime, maybe you could drop in and let me know how they came out? :)

I haven't worked out the particulars with them yet. I sent them off some 8 x 10's today and 4 - 16 x 20's are on the way from dcpprints. When they get them we're going to work out pricing and I'm going to check the status of selling online with them. I hope they can put them online - that would be a really big boost.

I just found out that my Newfoundland Republic shot was published in The Newfoundland Herald, albeit in a very small size, in the editorial section. The Herald is a province wide weekly TV guide/entertainment/current affairs type magazine. Every little bit of publicity counts. I'm hyped.

Bump for Newfoundland Herald readers. I bet there's thousands on this site. ;)

That one is the kind of shot that would be useful in a small or large size. I'm happy that you are getting a lot of exposure from it.

That's really cool Orussell, but did they ask if they could use it or give you any credit? Still a boost!

Thanks. I sent a web-sized shot to The Herald and gave them express permission to publish it; I told them I could provide a higher res image if needed. They just went ahead and printed the one I sent and they didn't let me know. I don't have a problem with that. It's great exposure.

I'm in process of getting a couple of files ready to be sent out for printing and plaque mounting. The Downhomer called this morning and suggested it as a good way of showing off my prints at their gallery. It's going to be costly but hopefully it will pay for itself. :)

Here's another one I may put up for prints if I can get the approval of the Labrador Heritage Society. Details about the flags' origin can be seen here: //www3.nf.sympatico.ca/lab.heritage/flag.htm

Hey, were all one big happy province, or I'd like to think we are. I think Labrador has some of the same issues with the Newfoundland government as we have with the Federal government; I truly hope we can work out our differences. With the new land claims deals and resource deals, I hope things improve for them as well as people on the Island.
