Click on my url above to see my personal water drop photo. I simply filled up the sink..I then setthe faucet to dispense a droplet of water every second and it's all a matter of timing the shot. I got what I wanted after my 3rd attempt. Below is how I setup my camera.

Setup:
ISO: 400
Shutter speed: 1/1000
Aperature: 8.0
