My Santa brought me a Manfrotto 3021Pro tripod with a 3265 Grip Action Ball Head !! Woohoo, I never expected these, and am so excited to use them.

Merry Christmas to all of you, and what did you get?

My hubby hit a home run this year with a PhotoFlex light panel complete with frame, legs, and two light stands so that I can position it above my subject. Way cool! PLUS an awesome Hoya MC polarizing filter! YIPPEE!

And while not photographic it sure will help when I decide to go shooting in arctic temperatures... long underwear 'cause I chill easily. Is he the greatest guy or what!!!

I got a Manfrotto and grip action ball head, too! I musta been pretty good, 'cause Mrs. Claus also got me a Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 XR Di lens, and something else big that wasn't delivered on time. Maybe coal was out of stock. ;-)

Most of my large gifts I go early in the year :)
But my wife did get me a few little things.

For camera/photo gear I got the 30' extension cable for my Canon EOS 10D remote, Car Adapter for my portable NixVue hard drive, 58mm coupling ring, Focus Magic, 120 pack 4x6 photo paper, and ink cartridges.

Other gifts; 250gb hard drive, dc/ac power inverter, book for identifying Texas birds, some great DVD Movies, and the large Cadillac Escalade remote control SUV for goofing off with my sons and grand kids. LOL

My wife and I also got a thank you card for donating a Christmas food basket/dinner for a needy family. This included a 20lb turkey and gift stockings for the children. This was the best gift of all :)

Got the 20D as an early present, but my best gift was a Joe Montana authentic Notre Dame Jersey... does it get any better than that?

I got the Tamrac photo vest that I wanted...but I hate it. Gonna see about putting the $100 towards a sling pack or a new tripod instead. :-/

Why do you hate it? Do you hate "it" or the way it looks on you? I'm curious, 'cause I have toyed with the idea of one of these.

I got a big hole in my front yard when our water main froze and burst. The city crew has been here since 11:30am working on it. No water to the house. Expecting family at 4 PM. *sigh* This kind of stuff only happens on the holidays. Fa la la la la, la la la la. :-)
