Where to begin........

Night shot of Tower Bridge I would put at the top of my list. With the sun being low in the sky this time of year, weather permitting you could get some great architechture shots, (long shaddows, high contrast, that sort of thing).

At the right time of day the Houses of Parliment from the southj side of the river, (Westminster Palace) would be one of my goals.

Also there's a no so well known landmark simply called The Monument. Its on the north bank of the river just before you get to the Tower of London. It stands near the sport where the great fire of London started, Pudding Lane. You can go up to the top and get some great city view shots.

My advice is take plenty of memory cards or a laptop to download onto, there's so much to shoot in London.

Go on the Millenium Eye to get panoramic pictures of London - the "eye" itself makes a good subject too:

Picadilly Circus at night is full of color and motion.

Hang out in Leicester Square for people pictures.

There is a fabulous courtyard and fountain at the Courtold Gallery - I don't know if the fountain will be running in December tho' - it is a grid of water jets that change height in varios patterns and rythmns.

Have a GREAT time!!!!!

Yes to the above. Tower of London was my favorite stop. I liked the train ride to Windsor and Windsor Castle as well.

St. Paul's is very nice.

The National Gallery and Trafalgar Square.

The parks are very nice. I loved Speaker's Corner. Another link.

Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guards.

Have a great time! I loved London. Hope to get back there some day.
