This was the first snow this year, but that was back on the 15th of August, it's sorta summer here now. 22.5 degrees C at the moment, so it's not likely to snow today.
Some nice pictures in this lot... well done all..

Wow there are some awesome snow pictures here. Being from somewhere it hardly ever snows, I love seeing pictures of it. As laurielblack said we did get one snow last year in Feb. that lasted about half a day. I will share a photo I took but don't laugh. This is a big snow for where we live. This was taken on a small pond/lake/tank (whatever you want to call it) :) we live on. It was so fun seeing it with snow around it. This is actually a color photo but looks b/w.

Got a blizzard last night and we lost power. Was up all night feeding the wood stove in the basement to keep the house warm. Next day sure looked nice. Except I fell and bruised my knees and the shoveling has given me back spasms. I got a migraine headache from the sun glaring off the snow. It sure is strange how Christmas seams a thousand years away…or was that 2 days? |

Hey, Jim;
We're shooting the same blizzard. I'm in Harwich Port. Gimme a holler if you ever come out this way; I don't know a single photographer on the Cape, I retired out here (if you can believe it) from Southern California.

This is what we do when we get snow. Right now we are lacking in snow so these were taken up the mountains the first was a couple weeks ago on a night ride and the second was yesterday in fresh powder.
