I wish it were snowing here right now. It is SO hot! I cant believe summer hasnt even technically started yet. I havent even seen snow before, but it sure looks pretty.

Already been skiing twice! The best I have so far is one I'm working on for the Holiday card.

Thanks Kylie - we really had fun and try to ski a lot, so using it for the annual card is appropriate.

What's snow?

Seriously, I've only ever seen snow once in my whole life. I've got some old photos somewhere, taken on a lousy film camera about 20 years ago when I was still a student (damn, now I've given my age away, more or less), but I don't think they're good enough to show. Always assuming I can find them, that is.

Yes, I'm in South Africa. Parts of the country do get snow, but in Johannesburg it's extremely rare. Frankly I didn't enjoy my one encounter with snow, so I'm not complaining.

Yipee! First snow here in Montreal! If only the National Hockey League woud'nt be in a lock-out, this would finally feel like winter.

I love this...how did you convert it?

I'm finding this aspect of post processing very frustrating as the options to convert are very limiting in PSElements...

Here's one I like from my first set of snow pictures.

Only a little slice of the photo has snow, but way up there in the mountains above Cades Cove, I'm sure there was actually quite a blanket of it.

Okay...its Decemeber 2nd in Pittsburgh, PA. Contrary to popular belief of most...we still havent had any snow yet! So no snow pictures for me yet.

Arizona snow! Horton Spring last weekend. This is actually a spring that flows out of a small hole in a cliff face (at the top of the picture you can see the hole).

Better view of the spring, but no snow

There is another spring identical to this one about 20 feet to the left, but it's harder to get pictures of that one because of sun and trees.
