I posted this last week. Not really "our" first snow as I had to drive up in the mountains to get to it but it was the first snow of the year for us.

Well down here in Miami the only type of snow I could make an image of would be of the illicit type...

And while I love photography...I love my freedom just a wee bit more...I am gonna have to pass on the invitation...;)

You might be surprised Hardway. A mall up here is doing indoor snowfall every day at 6:30 PM. Real snow falling inside for 15 minutes! Maybe it will catch on in Miami. That would be draw.

They do the whole "import snow for the kids" thing down here near Christmas time.

I hope they do it again this year. Kids love it.

'Curved Tree' is definitely my favorite of the all, but I did not see anywhere to vote -- do I have to be a member of pBase?

Unfortunately we have not had any snow, just a lot of cold rain -- but not cold enough for any interesting ice either; just plain nasty. :(

Not sure it counts, but this is me enjoying my first snowfall... LOL

Our first snow, if we get any snow at all, is probably still weeks away. Last year it snowed once, on Valentine's Day. :o)

13 years ago I moved to Australia and haven't seen snow at all since :( :( :(

I miss it!!!!!!!! This thread makes me miss it even more :( :( :(

When it snows in Hawaii there's always clouds blocking the Mauna Kea. One of these days I'll get my shot.

I agree with the rest - Curved Tree is tops. Great shot!

Now I know just the tree overhanging the water I'm going to after the next snow, which does not happen often here.
