Has anyone here ordered photo equipment through Ritzcamera.com?
They seem to be huge. I'm just wondering about their reputation. I'd like to hear any good or bad experiences you might have had.

we have a number of stores here in my area ... and I'll actually deal with people at a Wolf Camera over Ritz .. yeah it is the same company .. but in orlando .. for some reason the people are much more nicer at Wolf ... but i'm happy with them .. I've ordered lens from them they had it in a week for me

| I bought my first camera from them. A couple of lenes too. They have good deals sometime. In my opinion, just like any of the other large photo stores they're pretty reputable. I'm also getting the brand new Canon 10D with them. |

I bought some Nikon filters from Ritz online last year. For some reason they sent the order to me twice! I came home and found two boxes on the front porch. They billed me for both shipments also -- took about two weeks of phone/email back and forth before they gave me a return authorization for the second set of filters and refunded the cost (including shipping cost) of the second set of filters. They were easy to work with on this problem -- it was just a pain dealing with a large organization (keeping track of who you talk to on which day, etc). In the end it all worked out fine, so I would buy again from Ritz camera.

| I have dealt with Ritz camera and they know what they are doing and are very helpful, however I found them to be overprice. I have bought a lot of acessories through ebay, yeah I know there is a risk there but I will highly recommend one ebay store its called PhotoGearFinder. I purchased a set of filters last Sunday night from him on ebay and the filters were in my mailbox on Tuesday morning, and best part is I paid half the price of what I would have at ritz.com |
