Unedited outtakes. I really couldn’t decide which photo to use.

I love the idea of the first one - I wonder if it would have cleaned up nice (she's a bit soft)

When the moon hits your eye in the daylight sky…. That’s amore’’.

And… that’s all I have to say about this.

I wanted to enter this one. It was cloudy most of the time. Then there was the couple of days where it wasn't in the day sky.

And then there was one last fleeting chance!! It was up in the sky for the first hour in the morning! I went out and spent an hour trying to find it.

And I couldn't find it!

So I used Stellarium to help point me the way. But that wasn't working correctly, it kept pointing me in different directions.

So I downloaded another app.

Same problem.

I downloaded 5 different apps to try to help me find the moon.

Then I had the brilliant notion!! The Apps had a camera button, where it could take a photo! And it was showing me the moon!! I took a photo using the app! I was so excited, because it was so wonderfully funky! I brought it home and cleaned it up and edited it. Then about an hour before voting started, I realized.... nooooo.... it may show a picture of a camera, but it's probably not taking a photo that would pass muster. Yeah. SC confirmed it. It's not a photo.

But here it is! I spent probably about 3 hours getting it. :)

I really wanted to enter this too. I loved the challenge title. But for the duration of the period when the moon should have been in my day sky, just clouds, clouds and more clouds. Absolutely no moon in the day sky here :-(
